This Christmas, I am volunteering with Crisis to help provide people: Somewhere safe to stay Companionship and support from volunteer befrienders Essential food and festive treats Phone and online support Health and wellbeing programmes. Year-round support with training and education Advice on housing, employment and benefits The chance to leave homelessness behind for good. I’ve done this for the last five years and I love it, it’s a great initiative for those less fortunate than I am.
