I plan to inshaAllah complete the 3 peaks yorkshire challenge..........this involves completing a 25 mile circuit of the Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, within 12 hours.This is a 1,600m (5,249ft) of an ascent and descent so is justifiably a great challenge for the likes of me..........but inshaAllah it is definately do-able.

SOLACE aims to ensure that no revert sister goes through difficulties in her life unsupported, by providing the holistic support she needs to move forward and by enabling her to strengthen and maintain her faith and closeness to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.

Please note, that if for any extreme weather/health or safety reasons, I am unable to do the challenge, your money will still go to the intended cause insha'Allah. However I will try my utmost best to complete the challenge to the best of my ability insha'Allah.

Alhumdulillah I am amazed and so grateful to everyone who has sponsored me. With my initial target of just 1000 pounds, you all have helped me to nearly double that. JAZAKALLAH KHAIR

The challenge took place yesterday, with 5 of us friends participating. Unfortunately I was only able to complete just over 22 miles of the set 26 mile challenge. This means I managed to do 2.5 of the 3 peaks, whereby the 3 peak, I skimmed the top and walked half way up, then round and down again. This was due to me physically being unable to climb anymore as I couldn't raise my leg as my muscles seized up. I can assure you I kept going till I physically could. Alhumdulillah 3 out of our group of 5 managed to complete the challenge.

InshaAllah all the money you have donated still goes to the SOLACE charity and you will all be rewarded accordingly. Please forgive me for being unable to complete the entire challenge.
