Story
Lincolnshire v Hunger is an initiative of the Lincoln-based charity Shepherd Food Ministries. It aims to empower grassroots communities in Lincolnshire to participate with, and work alongside, governments and international organisations to achieve the UN's Millennium Development Goal 1 objective (poverty and hunger).
The current goal of Lincolnshire v Hunger is to encourage Lincolnshire schools to take part in our song competition, with an award evening on 26th September 2015. There will be prizes of musical instruments for the top 3 schools with the most downloads for their songs.
All donations received and proceeds from sponsorship and downloads will go to support the Lincoln Food Bank and the farming community in Nigeria through the work of the Farmer's Academy.
