Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July I am cycling from Bangkok, Thailand through Cambodia and Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City delivering gifts for children along the way.

My Mum caught Polio at the age of 10 and after many years of a relatively normal life now suffers from PPS (Post Polio Syndrome) which causes muscle weakness, pain and fatigue and can lead to swallowing and breathing problems.

One of the The British Polio Fellowship's aim is to help those living with the late effects of Polio to get their diagnosis earlier by promoting awareness courses for GPs to recognise, diagnose and then refer such cases to a neurologist for further assessment.
