Horatio's Garden is a wonderful charity, giving long-term hospital patients in spinal units a unique environment. We have worked with garden designers at 2 of the Gardens so far and have seen first hand the affect these beautiful open spaces have on the otherwise ward-bound patients. Beds can be wheeled around the gardens, into the glasshouse or other social buildings, or to other more intimate areas designed to give them the privacy they otherwise cannot find when loved ones visit. It's fantastic for the well-being and rehabilitation of patients and cannot help to have an extremely positive effect on their progress.
