This race is the largest, timed cycling event in the world!! 35,000 cyclists will line up to ride the 109km route and it is going to be a huge challenge for us - we only started road biking in November 2015 and have been training in the freezing cold!  We are not sure if we will be ready for the heat, strong winds and environment, but we are going to give it a really good go!

We are supporting a wonderful charity, Home from Home, which provides supported and supervised community based foster care for orphaned, abused, neglected and vulnerable children in South Africa. Your donation will go a long way to enable the charity to continue to support the 200 plus children already in their care within 34 home across fifteen countries!
