Story
The current pandemic is hitting the charity sector hard and many vital services are under threat just when many people need urgent support.
Motor Neurone Disease is a fatal, awful disease and people living with and affected by it are already facing huge challenges. The MND Association support people with MND and everyone who cares for them, we campaign to ensure their needs are recognised as well as fund research to bring us closer to a cure. We are working hard to keep our support going and adapt our services to be as effective as possible but we are also facing a potentially devastating drop in income.
I am proud to work for the Association and am joining in the 2.6 challenge to do my bit. And believe me it's going to be a real challenge - working out for 26 minutes just once is a challenge no matter doing it every day (outdoors) for 26 days! I'm hoping that I discover a (deeply buried) passion for skipping, hula hooping etc but I'm aware I'm a bit of an optimist - watch this space :0)
Please donate if you can - any size gift is much appreciated - it'll spur me on and make a real difference to people affected by this awful disease. If you're one of the first 26 people to donate (she says optimistically) feel free to suggest some specific exercise you'd like to see me attempt to do :0)
Thank you. Keep safe x
