Total Warrior · 27 June 2015
From my experience 10 years ago, a family member found they had cancer at the age of 18. Words cant express the devastation, helplessness, bewilderment and life changing thing this is for them.
Our family member received great care & recovered, and leads a great life, This is my chance to play it forward and raise as much money as i can.I like to see where money raised makes a difference locally. Money raised for Teenage Cancer Trust is distributed throughout our NHS hospitals, building special equipped Units.
Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
This new facility is planned for completion in early 2015 and will include a 5 bedded unit (2x single en-suite and a 3 bedded bay) with recreational area and quite room for 13 to 18 year olds. Enhancement of the existing complementary therapy room will also be included in the scheme.
My Challenge is "Total Warrior", Leeds, 12k run and 30 obstacles, on June 28th 2015.
