In 2010, I was diagnosed with ME/CFS. If not for the ME Association, I would have known nothing more than the name of my condition as the consultant I was under had no further interest beyond my diagnosis.

Over the last couple of years, my condition has deteriorated, leaving me in a wheelchair.

Recently, I saw a company doing virtual distance challenges. They confirmed to me that I would be able to do the challenge of my choice in my wheelchair. After much thought, I decided on the Mount Everest challenge at 40 miles. Later on, I decided I needed more of a challenge so have added Mount Fiji (46 miles) and Mount Kilimanjaro (60 miles) to the challenge to make my own 3 peaks challenge.
