At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2010 my father Ron was diagnosed with mesothilioma, an aggresive form of lung cancer. Sadly only 10 months later, Dad passed away in January 2011. The Princess Alice Hopsice were a huge help to him, providing a variety of equipment to ease everyday life, as well as the incredibly kind staff who came to visit him at home. Not only did Princess Alice help Dad, but they greatly helped my mother Stephanie who had become his carer, chatting with Mum during visits over a cup of tea, listening to her worries, questions and taking her mind off of things.

On Saturday 8th September Mum and I will be walking 12 miles with hundreds of others through Twickenham, Teddington, Kingston and Richmond in our pyjamas at midnight to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice!

We can never thank them enough for all they did for us, all we can do is raise as much money as possible to enable them carry on providing their generous work for others who need their help.

Thank you so much for any amount you can donate.
