In 2013 my wonderful Grandma passed away after many years of living with Alzheimer's. She was a fantastic lady full of character and love. Alzheimer's is a cruel illness which attempts to take away a persons character. Betty fought this until the end with her strength of character shining through. Alzheimer's affects not only the person suffering but everyone around them, I want to raise money to help support those with the illness and those affected by it.
