Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I hope to raise £3,000 for the Big Hearted Scotland charities and to achieve this I am undertaking the David Livingstone Challenge. The challenge seeks to replicate the conditions that David Livingstone worked under in Zambia during his missionary work there. This means I will be rafting and canoeing, for 6 days, in some of the most demanding rapids on the planet. I will also be trekking in the bush for three days, covering a distance of 50K in tempatures up to 40C. Finally I will be working in a Zambian orphanage for a day helping the local children.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bighearted Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
