Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

The back story...

...In 2017, I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, caused by longstanding demyelinating lesions in my brain.  I have Multiple Sclerosis. It sounds pretty dramatic, but...

...I count myself as one of the lucky ones as I have no outwardly obvious symptoms or disabilities (apart from a wobble here and several dropped cups there, it’s just age surely?!)...

...That being said, MS is a degenerative neurological condition. Disease Modifying Therapies can slow progression for relapsing MS but for progressive MS, few treatments are available. With this in mind...

... my brother and I are each pedalling 54 miles to raise money for the MS Society who aid pioneering research into new treatments and are an invaluable resource for all affected by MS.
