 I am fundraising on behalf of Blind Veterans UK, having seen first-hand, some of the extraordinary work they do and the benefits this can bring to those needing their help - just like my fellow Freemason and friend, George. 

George, who celebrated his 90th birthday earlier this year, is a widower, without family and registered blind. The direct help & support he has received from Blind Veterans UK in recent years - including a respite stay at their Llandudno Centre in 2019 - has been of great benefit to him. George continues to receive contact and support visits from local area volunteer, Allison.

My challenge is a “Long Walk” - to complete a total distance of 2000Km between 1st March 2022 and 31st January 2023. This will be done in various locations whilst travelling around the UK from time to time, with my trusty canine companion Reuben alongside for every step. I shall keep you informed of my progress along the way via the "Updates" below, including pictures from some of the places visited & walked.
