Lindy Mogford was diagnosed with a very rare form of neuroendocrine lung cancer in November 2018. Currently there is no cure for this type of cancer and it disproportionately affects women. 

The Royal Free Charity is currently funding a research project into this type of cancer. (FUND 311)

To help raise money for this vital research our son Alex attempted to run the Norfolk Coastal path's 83 miles from Hunstanton to Great Yarmouth on the weekend of 27 August 2022. 

He achieved an incredible 64 miles out of 84 in14 hours. Hampered by poor weather and unexpected headwinds in the early stages, he retired as dusk fell having completed the equivalent of two and a half marathons!  Well done Alex.
