Lindsay's Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon

Giving myself some extra motivation by fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity.
As some of you know, I sadly lost my dad to a Brain Tumour in 2013. At the time there was little they could do to save him, or have any understanding as to what was the cause.
It's still the case today, despite more efforts to raise awareness to raise funding, brain tumour research is heavily underfunded.
Over £700m is spent on cancer research in the UK every year, yet less than 3% is spent on brain tumours
Over 5,300 people lose their lives to a brain tumour each year.
Brain tumours reduce life expectancy by on average 27 years – the highest of any cancer!!
Just like me with my running, we have to keep researching Brain tumours and not give up. They are currently fundraising to be able to conduct some clinical trials, so please donate what you can.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, were moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change.
