For many people, cancer is a daily struggle, and lots more have had their lives affected in some way by this disease. 

In October 2001, my partner Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer. We had just embarked on a new chapter in our lives, only to have it all turned upside down. Jane’s approach was to face the challenge with amazing courage, staying positive and defiant throughout. Sadly, Jane lost her fight to the disease in late summer of the following year.
