Khalsa Aid (KA) is primarily a international humanitarian relief agency, based on the teachings of the Sikh Gurus who preached well being of all humanity. Since the launch of KA in 1999 we have provided aid in many different disasters.Most recently Khalsa Aid has launched projects in Punjab.

Story

The Lions MMA Bradford team will be completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on July 26th. The total route is 24 miles (38.6km) and it includes a 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. 

The team will be raising money for two causes:

1. A young girl from India who requires a kidney operation - as mentioned on Akaal TV.

2. Khalsa Aid - Khalsa Aid is an international NGO with the aim to provide humanitarian aid in disaster areas and civil conflict zones around the world. The organisation is based upon the Sikh principle of "Recognise the whole human race as one".

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in under 12 hours. 

These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For more information on each peak, see link below:
