This is your chance to give me a virtual push out of an aeroplane!

I always said I would never jump out of a plane but my "nutty" good friend Simon has inspired me to give it a go and I want others to benefit from it too. Muscular Dystrophy support the 70,000 children and adults in the UK  who have muscle wasting conditions by funding research into treatments (currently no cure) and provide practical and emotional support for individuals and families, helping them to live life independently and hopefully as fully as my nutty friend.  So I am asking all my freinds, family and colleagues to help me raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK or to go to my other giving page if you wish to spport St Catherine's hospice through this jump. Thank you

Edit: Well I did it - never again!  Unless I have a lot of extra
strategic padding (those straps hurt), a serious amount of alcohol, an
instructor who is practicing for a place in the Red Devils (stop
spinning pleaeaase, I feel sick!!) and  a certain person jumping with me
 - you know who you are!!

Much of it is a noisy blur. The
flight up where I turned green half way up, sitting on the edge
wondering what on earth I am doing there, exiting in a full somersault
and descending on Bridlington at 130mph! Then there is a sharp crack as
the chute opens. And while your legs try to continue downwards at
130mph, the rest of your body is decelerates rapidly to 15mph.  Just as I
 have finished saying my prayers, the red devil wannabe puts us into a
sharp spiral left, then again right before offering me the chance to fly
 the chute. But I was not as dramatic as he liked so he gave my arm a
tug down and once again we are spinning like a top. Some poor motorist
on the A165 nearly got more than a seagull dropping on his car when my
breakfast threatened to reappear but we managed to land in one piece.  I
 am now hoarse from screaming and the family are still laughing at the
video.
