Another Year Another Project and Another Marathon!! 

Well, I managed to survive the London Marthon for another year.  This year I ran it on Sunday 13th April 2008 in 4 hours 37 minutes and 59 seconds.

Funds I raised will go towards helping reach the minimum £4000 required to take part in Project South Africa in November 2008, in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.    

What does the project involve?                              

Project South Africa will involve an 11 day camping trip to renovate Noordhoek Primary School in partnership with the local population of the remote village 3 hours drive from Cape Town, South Africa. 

Where Does the Money Go?

Funds raised by the trip go towards the work of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK in helping tackle bowel cancer.

UPDATE!!!:  On Sunday 7th September 2008 I took part in the Adidas Women's 5k Challenge in Hyde Park along with my mum Jill and sister Angie.  We all managed to get round the course, so well done girls & thanks for the fundraising efforts!!
