Why WAY? 

As many of you are aware Gavin died in December 2013. In my darkest days I joined an amazing charity Widowed and Young.  WAY is unique, it offers peer support to anyone who loses their life partner before their 51st birthday. WAY have helped me through the last 8 years, they gave me hope. In return I want to give newer members hope, I want to help this charity keep helping others. In the last 2 years our membership has grown more than ever. 

Why Ride London ?? 

I love a challenge! I can ride a bike!!  WAY needed volunteers!! The furthest I have ridden a bike is 20 miles and I couldn’t move for 2 days after 🤣 I have 5 months to train, 5 months to get better, 5 months to fall off and get back on, 5 months of aching, 5 months of ‘I don’t know if I can keep going’. But it will raise awareness

Why just why ??! !

I need a challenge, I need to get fitter, you need a laugh, WAY needs support and you only live once.
