Our Club's purpose is to provide a safe environment for disabled youngsters to gain confidence in the water by learning new skills and overcoming limitations thereby promoting independence and improving self-esteem.

Story

UPDATE: Sunday 15th July
You will all be pleased to know the swim was a great success with members of the club cheering me on and helping fundraise even more money through donation buckets. I managed to swim 2.7KM in one hour. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in the event and of course all those who have generously donated to such an amazing cause!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.

I started volunteering at the upside down swimming club in September 2017 and within a few weeks was amazed by the kindness of the club and the resilience of the swimmers.

I knew that I had to do something to raise money for such a brilliant cause and will be swimming as far as I can to raise money and awareness for the club on the 14th of July 2018 at the St Ives Leisure centre from 6PM-7PM.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated by both the club and all those involved with the club and I hope that this event is a success.
