Lisa is Skydiving for the RUH Cancer Care Center

Skydive Day 2020 · 11 October 2020 ·
Over the past few years I have been involved with helping to raise money for the Cancer Care Center in Bath with a group of friends by holding metal detecting events in the south west. I have always wanted to do a Skydive and if I can raise money at the same time, for a cause that means so much to me and my family, its a win win. I have unfortunately, as have so many of us, lost members of my family to cancer over the years. So I am jumping in memory of two wonderful men who have touched my life. Firstly my Uncle Keith who we lost 13 years ago, he was the life and soul of the party and was always cracking a joke. His laugh was so infectious and this is very much missed. Secondly my father in-law Rodney Cook. Rod passed away only a few years ago and the staff at the RUH were like angels, no words can describe the job they do. Day in, day out they look after and care for patients as well as their families. If you can help me support the RUH, who do such a wonderful job, I would be truly grateful.
Thank you
Lisa
