Sarah Ovens and I are taking to the hills to raise much needed funds for a charity that is very close to both of our hearts. As many of you know, my son Benjamin was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes four years ago. Brave, courageous and strong, he is an inspiration to all of us. My beautiful  niece Heather also suffers from T1 - She is equally amazing. We do this for Benjamin, Heather and all the other people who suffer from this very tough condition. Sarah has also been affected recently by Diabetes burdening her family. We are doing 'our bit' to try and make a difference and cure T1 diabetes forever. We thank you so much for any donation you can afford to make. Every penny counts.

Our Event

We will be gracing the Sussex Downs for over 26 miles on June 4th 2016. The marathon will start in Brighton where we will follow the stunning South Downs Way National Trail passing the historic Alfriston village. Heading south we will take to the coastal path above the white cliffs in Seven Sisters Country Park, the finest coastal paths in the country.Passing over the highest chalk sea cliff, Beachy Head, where we make the descent into Eastbourne to be welcomed along the seafront at the finish point. We hope to do this all in a few hours!!
