Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 21st October 2017 a group of us who are pretty pants at cycling, running and swimming will be taking part in a crochetathon, at Hobbycraft in Warrington, to raise a lot  of money for Vickys Fund, Victim Support.

There will be a group of 12 of us who will be crocheting daisy squares and then joining them into one big beautiful blanket, each £1 that you donate will enter your name into a raffle, at the end of the crochetathon a name will be randomly selected, so the more £1's you donate to Victim Support the more chances you have of winning the blanket in memory of Vicky.

Vickys Fund is a pot of money which supports families affected by the loss of a loved one due to murder or manslaughter.  It was set up after the murder of Vicky Wynne-Jones, and in the past has helped with everything from a birthday party for a little girl who had lost both her parents, to flight tickets for a family from abroad who's relative was killed in the UK, to Christmas presents and more; anything to help make a difficult time just that little bit easier to cope with.

Please, please dig deep, and support us and help to raise enough to hit that target!  And if anyone would like to come along and see what we're doing or join in then you're more than welcome to.  We will be starting at 09:00 on Saturday 21st October at Hobbycraft Warrington.

Thanks for reading!
