Parachute for Pillars
Campaign by Holy Trinity Rotherhithe (RCN HMRC Registered)
Father Andrew completed his parachute jump to save Holy Trinity Church, Rotherhithe on Friday 2nd June in Salisbury.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of the pillars in the Holy Trinty church are in need of repair. I was approached to help raise money for this cause.

Running is not really my thing and so this is also a personal challenge for me.

Father Andrew is doing a parachute jump to fund raise so that urgent repairs can be carried out on Holy Trinity church. The cost of maintaining the buildings is escalating and your support is urgently needed to ensure the future of this church which benefits the thriving community around it. Whilst gentrification continues to rob the area of its pubs and local infrastructure the church remains an oasis of the community. Whether or not you are religiously inclined, the church is there for you and benefits many local people as a place to mark the important stages of life: weddings, funerals and not forgetting our beautiful carol services. What the Blitz failed to put an end to in 1940, do not let apathy do in 2017!
