Lisa and Sam - The big haircut!

lisa jacobs is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Sponsored hair cut · 14 November 2020

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Both of our daughters (Emily and Milly) have already had their long hair cut which is ready to donate to the charity . Sam Turner and me (Lisa)  are also going to cut our hair for donation too, but we also want to raise enough money for the charity to turn the 4 hair donations into wigs.

It costs at least £550.00 to make a hair donation into a wig for a child with cancer so we are looking to raise at least £2200.00 to cover the costs for the charity.

Take a look at the pictures in the update section to see Milly having her hair cut and Emily's hair ready to donate.

We will post our haircuts once we reach our total!

Information about the little princess trust:

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.

Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
