Story
Mick was a loving husband, dad and grandad who lost his fight with cancer in the early hours of the 6th of March, surrounded by loved ones. He was able to spend his final days at home due to the amazing care and support of Marie Curie nurses and carers.
It was Mick's wish to have a simple send off, there will therefore be no formal funeral. We would instead invite anyone that would like to do something tangible to donate to the Marie Curie charity so that other families are able to benefit from the wonderful care at end of life.
Michael James Such was born in Market Harborough. On leaving school he went straight to work in a shoe factory before building a working partnership with his friend and forming D&S decorators. He had two children Michelle and Justin and gained two more when he married Anne. Between them they have 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren!
In latter years after moving to Stanwick he enjoyed bowling and his garden and was always happy to chew your ear with an amusing anecdote.
Mick was well liked and will leave a huge hole in all of our hearts ❤️
