Lisa's Skydive for Max

Skydive · 14 May 2022
As some of you may know my nephew has cancer. He is our family’s very own superhero.
After a short period of illness which began in April 2021, Doctors discovered an aggressive tumour behind Max’s nose. Unfortunately we were soon told that the cancer had spread widely to Max’s lungs, bones and bone marrow.
Max has had to have intensive chemotherapy, including a 5-day stay in intensive care following on from him going into surgery on his 12th birthday, and radiotherapy. Max is still also undergoing chemotherapy.
Max, his mum (my sister), his dad (who is like a brother to me) and his younger brother Zak have been so incredibly brave and amazing throughout this experience.
I’m taking part in a skydive event to raise money for The Katherine Allport Foundation on 14th May. A charity which supplies hampers to cancer patients personal to each individual. Max’s hamper contained many items from Lego, a tablet, puzzle books, pens, Liverpool pyjamas, travel sickness bands and much more.
Any donation will be gratefully received.
Thank you for your support, and Max, you truly are the bravest person I have ever met, we love you so so much xxx
