Story
Starting on the 6th April I will be walking 70 miles in 7 days to raise money for the charity 4Louis in memory of our beautiful baby boy Noah McCrindle born sleeping 22nd November 2020
I was 7 months pregnant when we lost Noah, it was totally heart-breaking, not only did we have to come to terms with losing our baby that we loved and carried we also had to deal with the trauma of delivering Noah knowing we wouldn't be taking him home with us
Luckily for us the RVI have teamed up with the charity 4Louis who provide memory boxes and support to grieving families in this situation. We left left the hospital not with our new born baby but with a box of his memories. The box contained photos, hand/footprints and other keepsakes of our little boy, all the normal memories you would collect of your new born.
These may seem like small things, but to a parent who has lost a child, these small things are lasting memories of their baby and acknowledgement their baby existed.
Unfortunately child loss during pregnancy is something so many of us go through but for some reason it is still not spoken about openly, its true a lot of people just don't know what to say but from experience, saying something is better than saying nothing
Noah will always be in our hearts ❤
