Story

As some of you know, Tony's mum, Ann, was diagnosed in 2017 with Huntington's disease. A rare, neurological, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. There is currently no cure. Tony and I have been wonderfully supported by The Huntington's Disease Association UK over the last few years as he underwent genetic testing and, thankfully, discovered he does not carry the gene so the disease cannot be passed on. We would like to continue to support and  raise awareness of Huntington's Disease (HD) and I  shall be running this years London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022 as part of #TeamHDA. It's a true couch to marathon undertaking for me so I’ll post lots of updates on my progress. Please help us to support people across England and Wales affected by Huntingtons disease.

Thank you.
