Story

So as most of you know I have always been quite fit, but in 2018 my fitness was massively affected due to illness and just when I was on the right road to recovery, it was announced that my Father has Bowel Cancer. From that day I have promised myself I would get my fitness back and set a challenge to raise money for the amazing Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for all the support/help they give My Dad and Mum. Helen Rollason has also continued to do incredible work during the difficult times that we are all faced with right now. I really didn’t think this challenge would be this soon, but lockdown has given me the focus to do it. So in typical Lisa style here is my Challenge. Half Iron Man (4,450ft ascent)) swim 1.2 miles, Bike 56 miles , Run 13.1 miles. This will be done back to back on Sunday 23rd August. Date to be set nearer the time. I hope you can find the time to support me by donating, joining me on part of the route and cheering me on.
