Wanting to avoid the home haircuts in 2021 Ethan decided to grow his hair and raise some money for charity at the same time.

In March 2022 his school friend Zara unfortunately had a relapse and needed to have chemotherapy,  resulting in her losing her hair for the second time. This inspired Ethan to keep going and after two years of growing he has had the chop and donated 12 inches of hair to The Little Princess Trust.
