Nine years ago we lost my dad, Dennis Callan, to prostate cancer. I chose Prostate Cancer UK to benefit from my fund raising efforts because they are working towards a cure for this horrible disease.

It would have been my dads 83rd birthday on the day of this years race, and I'm sure if the cancer hadn't got him he would still be enjoying life, painting, singing, cooking and enjoying a cheeky drink!
