Giving Tuesday · 30 November 2021

We believe that respect for people, animals and the environment will lead to a more compassionate and sustainable world. We work predominantly in China and focus our efforts on three pillars in society: children, consumers and professionals. We support gradual and sustainable social development.

Story

Celebrate #Giving Tuesday by donating to my cause

Some of you may be aware that I work for a UK registered charity ACTAsia, that in the main helps educate children in China to be kind, compassionate and empathetic. Children are taught how to be kind and compassionate in their treatment of animals, but ACTAsia also teaches the guardians of our future ,how to have more respect for the planet, in order to secure a sustainable future.

Until I joined ACTAsia I had no idea that pet ownership had been banned under Mao and only allowed since the 1970’s. Now pet ownership is on the rise, but many do not know how to treat pets properly, as they have never been educated to do so. Animals were seen only historically as a resource or as food.  ACTAsia also helps to provide training for vets , as historically given the lack of pet ownership, vets had little or no experience with smaller animals.

As it is Giving Tuesday a day when everyone everywhere can do something to help support the good causes that mean a lot to people, I am hoping that you might kindly help me to  raise  money for ACTAsia and I need your help on this special day to reach my goal.

With your help we can train an army of role model teachers who can make break through with the moral education in China.

A £11 gift can help to deliver lessons for one child

A £37 gift can help provide all teaching resources and lesson plans

A £74 gift can help recruit and train a teacher to give our lessons to help produce well-rounded , responsible and happy children.

Thankyou for your time.
