Story

Unfortunately due to severe flooding along a large part of the Marathon route the event has sadly been cancelled. Turning a negative into a positive the organisers allowed it to be ran as a Virtual Marathon.

We decided that with all the training already accomplished we'd run the distance this weekend and completed a Marathon starting in Matlock and finishing in Breaston following the Derwent heritage way.

Loros provided fantastic care for my uncle in his last days of suffering from oesophageal cancer.

While we are searching for a cure to this horrible disease, hospices like LOROS provide that vital support in a unique way that hospitals can't provide.
