Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Lisa Shaw, a scientific researcher at the University of Central Lancashire, who specialises in finding new ways to diagnose and treat brain tumours.  Inbetween Ears are a local not-for-profit charity and has pledged to support us in our quest to improve brain tumour diagnosis and find new ways to treat this devastating illness.

Our research is cutting edge, and we have made significant advances in the last few years, but we need more financial support to continue what we have started.

Our research is important to us, and we are confident we can make a difference to those individuals and their families who have been diagnosed with brain tumours.  I am so confident in our work, that I am willing to throw myself, and my brother, out of a plane to raise money for a charity which will support us on our quest....

This is a big mile stone for me, because I am also petrified of heights and falling!!

Thank you for donating.
