MAY 28TH 2011- I AM DOING A SKYDIVE TO RAISE MONEY FOR PANCREATIC CANCER!!!
In May 2010 my husband had the hiccups! He drove me mad so i sent him to the doctors. On June 21st 2010, he was rushed to hospital with severe stomach pains. It was his birthday, and the England world cup match! He watched it with the nurses while I was in the pub!
On Friday 13th August 2010, he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. It was terminal, he was 48, and only had months to live.
On October 15th 2010,7 weeks from diagnosis, he died in my arms. He had starved to death and died in agony.
When I first met Tony, I fell in love. Now hes gone part of me is lost. He was the most amazing, kind hearted soul mate I could of wished for. I am so proud to be his wife.
I adored everything about him... His smile, his warmth, the storys he told... His hugs and kisses.
He was caring, funny and handsome... A friend to all, a number one dad, brother and son.
Even through the trials of life, bad luck and illness, he showed strenght and courage, always positive, always a dreamer, always a smiler.
Tony had many loves "glory glory man united", lambretas, music, conversation, laughter, company, and the odd pint!!... but most of all his family.
So to Conor and Molly... How your dad loved you, take strenght from him and make him proud. I will always love you and see him in you both.
To Chelsea and Maca.. What is a dad? Someone to look up to, someone that cares for you, loves and protects you. Someone whos always there for you, someone like Tony. Remember all he has taught you.
To Margret and Alan... Think of him and be proud, you did an amazing job and i want to thankyou always.
For Alan and Ian... Remember the good times, the champions league and those lambreta days...
And for everyone else live, laught, love and DONATE!
