So, I made it!!! With a damaged meniscus in my right knee but still made it. Very painful but very rewarding cycling into Paris! :) Thanks for all donations so far and still trying to get that target of 2k. Every little bit counts. Lisa xxx

It was my older sister, Kelly who took off my stabilisers and taught me how to ride my first red bike, 'Poppet', it is one of my earliest memories, I was only 3, and haven't really stopped since then.
London to paris is 480k (just shy of 300 miles) over 4 days and it won't be easy (sore bum for starters), but it is something that I'll look forward to doing; hopefully raise lots of pennies for macmillian so they can continue and hopefully reach as many people as they can.
During the cycle I will get tired and probably want to quit at some stage(s), I'm not the biggest fan of hills but nothing I can do will ever compare to the courage that my sister had in her final few months of having terminal cancer. She is my inspiration, she always was - even if she did nick my stabilisers!
I am doing it for her, but would be nice to make some money for a good cause, so macmillian can help others, if you can help me with that, it would be much appreciated.
