After a discussion with the CEO of this organisation towards the end of last year my mum was informed that they would do all they could to include the choice of a real Afro hair wig for children suffering from cancer. This also gives black and mixed children the opportunity to donate their hair (should they choose to) and feel the same sense of pride other children feel when donating their hair. The organisation has now achieved this and made their first real Afro hair wigs and this is just the beginning! So, due to The Little Princess Trust’s dedication to authentic inclusion for all children in this process, I am trying to fundraise and raise awareness for this wonderful charity. I will be going to Andrew Barton’s salon in Mayfair sometime in May (arranged by Phil Brace, CEO of The Little Princess Trust) to cut my hair and I will post pics when done.
