My Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I'm honored and excited to have been chosen to run for St Wilfrid's Hospice in this year’s London Marathon on the 2nd October 2022 which will be my first ever marathon.

I am fundraising for the hospice as they looked after my wonderful Mum, and my family in our time of need and grief in October 2019.

The care they provide is outstanding, the nurses looked after mum at home over night on many occasions when rest bite was needed, and then finally, in Mums last week she was given the best end of life care and made to be as comfortable as she could be. The nurses were also there for my Dad, my brothers and I whenever we needed their support or to talk about Mum.

St Wilfrid’s is predominantly self-funded, the care costs of the Hospice are paid for in part by a small NHS grant, however the majority of the £8.3m annual costs are met thanks to the generous support of fundraisers, donors and customers in their shops.

I will be forever grateful for any donation and I know it will keep me pushing through knowing that your kind donations will go to a place very close to my heart.

Thank you!
