Welcome to the Walk 31 Miles in January Challenge for the American Cancer Society! You are joining the American Cancer Society, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people facing cancer and their families.

Story

I'm walking 31 miles in January to support the work of the American Cancer Society and to express my gratitude to the outstanding doctors and medical professionals who took care of me and Mom this summer when we both received early-stage cancer diagnoses. Blessed with great medical care and health insurance and loving support from our family and friends, we’re celebrating the holidays cancer free. We were lucky.

Sending prayers and so much love to our family and friends who are on their own cancer journeys, caring for loved ones, and remembering loved ones — especially Carole, Pam, and Krissy — this winter. And sending thanks to the American Cancer Society for advocating for us all.
