Story

Me and mum are going to walk 21 miles through the Peak District with a 400m ascent. They say it should take 10 hours to complete. Not only is this a personal challenge for a charity close to our hearts, our story is not uncommon - considering 1 in 5 children in the UK live with a parent who drinks hazardously. Millions of adults in the UK are still being affected by their parents

. This amazing small charity needs to be supported through awareness and donations as it can help so many,. As a COA, you are not alone and shouldn’t ever feel alone and this charity is so important in proving and aiding that.

About the charity

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.
