In July I’ll be cycling from London to Paris to raise funds for Longfield. 

 

I find it hard to put into words the difference the care that Longfield provided made to my family as it allowed my mum and my uncle to both remain in their own homes being cared for by their family rather than having to die in unfamiliar surroundings.  It’s not an exaggeration to say that during those incredibly hard weeks some of their Hospice at Home carers became like a part of my family and to them I’ll be forever grateful.  Until I was in that situation I really had no idea of how little help there can be and so the service that Longfield provides is so very important.  

 

I’d be very grateful for any amount you can spare for this really worthy cause and be in no doubt that I’ll be working my arse off (quite literally maybe) in order to complete the challenge.
