💙 Why I’m fundraising

On 12 April 2026, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon attempting a Guinness World Record for

🏃‍♀️ Fastest female half marathon dressed as a body part — ovaries.

I know it sounds unusual, but the reason behind it couldn’t be more serious.

I’m running to raise money and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer, in loving memory of my mum, who died from ovarian cancer. Like so many women, her diagnosis came too late — and that’s something I want to help change.

Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent killer” because its symptoms are vague, overlooked, or misunderstood. By doing something eye-catching and a little bit bold, I hope to start conversations, raise awareness, and help fund vital research and support.

This challenge is also deeply personal. After the race, I will be having my own ovaries removed as a preventative step to eliminate my risk of ovarian cancer. This run marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another

Every donation, no matter the size, helps:

🎗 Fund life-saving research

🎗 Improve early diagnosis

🎗 Support women and families affected by ovarian cancer

Thank you so much for supporting me, remembering my mum, and helping to make a difference 💙
