On the 20th of June 2013, I lost my wonderful Granda. 

He had been diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier in the year and it was planned that he would spend his last days in the Ardgowan Hospice. However, he did not make it there as he died sooner than expected from a complicated infection.

And so I have chosen to raise money for this charity which is close to our hearts by taking part in a Go Sober for October challenge. I completed this challenge 5 years ago and feel that this time around will be harder due to the current state of affairs!
