Most of you know I'm not particularly athletic.  In fact, not athletic AT ALL.  I'd rather walk 5km in my heels through the shops than put on (ugly) running shoes and actually break a sweat. 

But this is important.  Over 50,000 women each year are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK.  Of those, almost 12,000 don't recover.  That's just not good enough.

The work Cancer Research does means that earlier diagnosis leads to better survival rates.  Around 90% of women who receive an early diagnosis survive for at least 5 years.  This drops to 15% for a late stage diagnosis.
