I have successfully taken part in the 10k Race for Life event at Nottingham Embankment on the 8th June 2014 and I am also running the 5k Loughborough on July 27th 2014. I was inspired to run this year due to the loss of one of my close relatives, my uncle Martyn and a family friend Malcolm Nelson.  Both sadly lost their lives to cancer in 2013.

Most of us in our lifetime will be affected by cancer. There are people fighting and living with this terrible disease every day and hopefully any money I raise can help these people receive the medical support and help that they need.
