Lark in the Park is a free community event held in Sidcup and Ramsgate each summer. This site is for the Sidcup event, hosted by New Generation Church and supported by Churches Together in Sidcup. It runs for 16 days with daytime clubs and activities for all ages plus a range of evening events.

Story

                                                  WE DID IT!

Thanks for all your sponsorship, we all completed the 3 peaks challenge in 29 hours. This sponsorship page is still open if you would still like to sponser us!

3 Peaks Challenge - 6th-7th September 2007

The Lark in the Park team are attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge - to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, all within 24 hours! We are starting by climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, followed by Scafell Pike (in the dark!) in England and finishing by climbing Snowdon in Wales.

The team are: Steve Gregson, Tony Dark, Paul Weston, Paula Weston, Liz Johnston, Gordon Raggett, John Arundel, Matt Green, John Rouse, Mary Rouse, Debbie Shearing with Jenny Vale and Graham McClarty as our drivers.

We are doing this crazy challenge to raise money for Lark in the Park, a community event organised by the local churches in Sidcup. The event provides 2 weeks of free community activities every summer for all ages in Sidcup and the local area. Along with this, half of the money we raise will go towards Malborough School, a local school for children with special education needs.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us, Lark in the Park (Community Projects) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
