Story

So, due to the heat I was unable to finish the event I had my heart set on, however I will cover the distance I had planned at different event and hopefully the weather will be cooler than the 36 degrees at the SVP.

I'm going to complete an ultra (50 km/31 miles) on an all trail route.

I have been in focused event training since February this year for the ultra although I have been a keen runner for many years. Taking running off road is a little more challenging.

The event itself requires zero fundraising. 

However, Little Emmie who has a rare form of skeletal dysplasia,
needs house adaptations and this local family have been fundraising hard over the years for the specialist support required. 

If in any way a little amount could be raised to help the family I'd be very grateful and it may make the 50km for myself to run that little bit easier to get through.
